Entry for the god/goddess contest

Erato :the goddess of love songs , music and dance
she is one the nine Muses who are the daughters ofZeus and Mnemosyne, goddess of memory, and the sisters of Apollo.
The muses were the greek goddesses of art and science. they represent the goddess as an inspirational power/strenght, that was equal to air or breathing, inhale.. that can be the meaning of them as the children of air. According to a myth they gave a seven tone scale, whitch was the reflection fo the Harmonie of environments. The music of the environments was a strenght that kept the universe together...

Erato is the Muse of lyric Poetry, and mimic, her name comes from the Greek Eros , and translated as passionate, gracious
her attributes are all music instruments containing strings.. mostly she is shown with a lyre, harp or kitara.

so this is my version of the goddess Erato
the personification of the sweet longing of love, gently woken up by the singing, realising that no writen word can describe the real feeling of love. I wanted her like this because if she didn't know those feelings , she wouldn't inspire people to try write it down...

the ancient greek believed that the sounds of the water in rivers, wells etc, were the singing and dancing of the muses

I must say, it didn't really start as a goddess piecein the first beginning, because i have already one waiting that i wanted to submit in 2 contests at the same time with almost the same theme.... or maybe unconsciencely i wanted to make another one for that contest,
feeling like a brainless zombie, that photo was more a reflection of my state of that moment then anything else. but the more i got further and the inspiration took me further, and the more the word 'erato' bugged me( you know like a very annoying song playing in your head ). the more i realised that this wasn't going to be a personal mood thingie. Then i did some research in my books what the word "erato" ment , because of my half dead brains, i couldn't put my finger on it what or who that word was. to my surprise i saw that "erato" was one of the muses, so like usual, i hadn't much to tell where this was going to end.. Erato wanted a piece, so she got one
